LET ME SHARE MY PART..

Why life throws the keys of vision away,
Which is very difficult to find.
Moments passed by like ripples in the lake,
And I waited, waited for something to happen.
With time I found the light,
That I could have happiness,
Even without my sight.
It is a challenge I must admit,
Though I am no longer bothered,
Not even a little bit.
Now with every journey that I take,
Will be an eternal BLISS...
No one to be blamed for,
I have a life of my own,
Let me live and share....

The story of this blind artist is extraordinary and unbelievable. Professional CPA with a photographic memory, Lisa Fittipaldi lost her vision due to a vascular disease in 1993. She lost her job too, but overcame blindness and began painting in 1995. Her paintings are so colorful and bright; it’s hard to believe that they were drawn by a blind person who can’t even see colors or distance. The main challenge to Lisa was when she was told she could never create complex scenes of everyday life with people as main characters. But she managed to do so, and today her paintings are exhibited in museums and galleries around the world. Fittipaldi is a unique artist with an amazing inner vision. You can
jujudge for yourself after the jump.

Burlesque

Poetry that treats a serious subject as humor.
Burlesque Types consist of a story, play, or essay, that treats a serious subject ridiculously, or is simply a trivial story. A Parody is a type of high burlesque which imitates or exaggerates the serious manner and characteristic features of a particular literary work. Parody is a device of satire.
African American Businesswoman Saving Money

MONEY (burlesque)

The rich have more than the down-and-out,
the situation seems so unfair,
they keep so much, these people of wealth
why can’t they, at least, share,
the homeless on the streets make ends meet
living without hope and care.
the rich man’s meal is fit for a king while the
poor makes do with what is there,
the pockets of the rich are stashed with cash,
the poor man’s cupboard is bare,
a sheen of shine on expensive shoes, while
cheap ones have seen much wear,
the flow and fall of the gentle lady’s clothes,
the simple wench’s has a tear.

The destitute take matters into their hands,
“for equality” they swear,
while the rich snuggle in their beds, they
make devious plans in their lair,
to seize from the mighty, strike them down
before they are hardly aware,
so they break into mansions, rob and run,
(for the rich have much to spare),
a grand man’s life they easily take, for the
want of gold they would dare,
what does it profit a man to gain the world
but forfeit his soul, the Bible does declare.
for those who have and have not; money is,
for sure, the root of evil everywhere.

YOU HAVE FILLED THE EMPTY SPACE

Who would have loved me so much
Who would hold my hand with grace,
Who would have wiped the tears of my face
If you wouldn't have filled the empty space.
The wisp of a breeze, the rustle of trees
Your feather light touch, really means so much
And when the night comes,I look at the sky,
Looking at the falling star, I make a wish why?
Trust me one day ,my wish will come true,
Till my last breath ,I want to be with YOU...

Acrostic Poems

An acrostic poem is a very fun poem for kids. Each acrostic poem has a topic idea running down the left side of the poem. Each letter in the topic word has a new thought that runs off the side from left to right and is relevant to the topic word. The topic word is typically the title as well.

For example...

ADAM WHO?

A-t last I am one up on my children; I’m cool
D-ignified I stand apart as I watch them drool
A dude so enchanting, they say he is the best
M-aybe I’ll watch him; see if he aces my test.

L-ips that tilt; a smile with Elvis-like languor
A-nd eyes of mystery behind black kohl-liner
M-agnificent costumes and flashy cloak-clothe
B-lood-curdling voice he warbles on one note
E-xcellent repertoire with nonchalant candour
R-anges of genre he belts out with solid power
T-reble or bass; he controls the highs and lows.
(they’re mesmerized- will it end- who knows.)

"When the Music is Over"

W hen music is not in the drums or the stings,

H arps or in trumpets, or oboes and things.

E nter the realms to the melody's heart

N atures's adventurous wilderness chart.

T he Elders and Maples, and Whispering pines,

H umming in tunes to the brook as it winds,

E ver enticing to the blackberry vines.

M usic appears as an unending plea,

U plifting and beautiful to a sad willow tree.

S ecrets that dwell in whatever we see.

I s it a wonder what nature has held?

C an you believe what you've heard or smelled?

I nside every flower a note will be born,

S ending the bees to dance and perform.

O nly time will allow this music to last,

V acant are the mountains, and gone is the past.

E very tune will subside like those of the clover,

R emember them all when the music is over.

THE BIRDS WITH WINGS OF HIGH DREAMS

child carrying load: World Vision of Australia

Why the Mornings are dull and dry,
Why the day just seems to be passing by,
Leading a life full of misery and pain
No shelter from the sun beating down,
No place to hide in rain,
I see the suffering endured by them,
I hear the pitiful begs for clemency
I can see ashes of the innocent billowing from a smokestack
We,on the other hand have all the materialistic pleasures,
People whom we can call our own, memories that we can treasure.
If only, all of us could make a difference in some way,
Make them feel that the sky has blue too,
And not every shade is Grey.
As it is very rightly said and I quote,
""Hope" is the thing with feathers
That perches in the soul
And sings the tune without the words
And never stops at all,"

DEEP IN MY HEART

When I close my eyes and think of you
I could think of submersing myself in this moment.
Every moment I spent with you,
Is every one of my dreams coming true,
Let the the moon brilliantly shine and glow.
And let the gorgeous pleasant night come in flow,
Let's dwell there forever,as my love is pure for you
On the wings of our love, enduring and true.
I desire for you with the first drop of dew in the morn
With showers on green grass of my fervent lawn.
The passing phases of swinging spring can perceive your fragrance bright,
With birds flapping in southerly breeze and sky of sunny light.
And happiness in life is only because of you,
when I close my eyes...All I see is you.

Searching for you

I've searched so long in this life of mine
Just to find that I'm lost in time...
To hear the whisper of your voice
To find the peace that I want
My heart yearns to be where you are
It so aches...
I wish that if I could I would
Turn back time to change what went wrong
I won't let it go for oh so long....
I'll never be where I want to be
This I already know and already see...
May be your heart gone a stray,
Or do you still think of me day by day?
No matter what you think, what you do
But I still believe and love you
My heart will still belong to you
let my heart always remind me of you
let my heart always remind me of you.....

HE IS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED IN MY LIFE....

Make no bones about it" . From the time he showed and showered love on me, I've known that he is the epitome of a legend:sometimes violent, emotional, gentle ,lovable and an angel in my life, And I loved him.Just one year and so many Reasons to love him. I just need a motivational "kick" to finish what I started. I know that people need to hear the message that love is a choice! Marriages are suffering; husband and wife relationships are strained--and people often buy into the lie that they can and should end their marriage based on how they feel or don't feel. HE is one of the most amazing, kind, generous people I have ever met and he spoils me rotten. I read somewhere that we fall in love with someone because of the way they make us feel when we’re with them.I am so proud of my husband. He loves me and supports me no matter what. I want to love him forever and he feels the same way. I am a PISCEAN and he tells me that I treat him like a King and piscean's are good at it.Even he treats me like a Princess, because that is how he sees me. I think that has really helped us keep love strong, to love and give generously, without worrying what we will get in return. For me he is the most amazing person in the world… Being a Taurus ,he is a very simple guy. He'll recoil from having "the talk" about where you stand and what he's feeling. You can decipher how it's going by how much he's integrating you into his life.If he suspects he's being played, than one could easily see the rage of the Bull... I sometimes try to impress my man by cooking him an artful meal. That means taking the time to saute the onions first, then the green peppers...timing everything to enhance the flavors. So I try to make it a long multi-course taste extravaganza that he won't soon forget. He is an EARTHLY and a SETTLED NATURED man ,so I always try something aromatic on the stove or in the oven when he swings by. Lastly I would end with some beautiful lines which goes .....He is the hope in the midst of our souls. He is the faith that comes with high goals. He is the meaning of ecstatic bliss. He is the feeling of a loving kiss.He is the sensation of everlasting love.He is an angel sent down from above. He is the wrapping of a wonderful gift.

I AM NOT ALONE

I am a bird, a bird that stalks down in a cage
I am deaf because, I do not want to listen.
This puzzle is mine and I have to solve,
My eyes are bruising through the window glasses,

My wings are clipped and my feets are tied.
I can seldom see through the bars of rage,
I could remember the old memories of pleasure.
I have to open my throat to sing,to speculate.

I am a black ocean, leaping and wide,
Welling and swelling like a muddy tide.
I know I am coiled in the shell of loneliness.
The world stops somewhere,I cannot see it,
I do not care.At least my shadow, not lost,
LIKE THE OTHERS ARE.

The Two Sides of Tears - Loss and Achievement

Have you ever stopped to wonder about tears? We can have tears of sorrow and tears of joy. When you experience someone’s tears did you ever stop to think you could be the cause of them in a more →Terry's thinking!

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL WITH YOU

My life is a bowl of cherries with
whipped cream and apple pie,
But sometimes my emotions and
thoughts flutter why?
I would cry all my tears,
even when I know you would hold me near.
I know where my heart would land,
you would be there to hold my hand.
I was still thinking and all I could
do was smile and feel shy,
but still sometimes my emotions
and thoughts flutter why?
I have loved and been loved through
the restless years I have found,
If only I could tell you,
how my spirit sings upon this wondrous ground.
My arms reach out with happiness,
as I know from you I would not part.
My eyes seek out visions in time,
as I have given you a special place in my heart.

LETTER FROM ABRAHAM LINCOLN TO HIS SON’S TEACHER

“My son starts school today. It is all going to be strange and new to him for a while and I wish you would treat him gently. It is an adventure that might take him across continents. All adventures that probably include wars, tragedy and sorrow. To live this life will require faith, love and courage. So dear Teacher, will you please take him by his hand and teach him things he will have to know, teaching him - but gently, if you can. Teach him that for every enemy, there is a friend. He will have to know that all men are not just, that all men are not true. But teach him also that for every scoundrel there is a hero, that for every crooked politician, there is a dedicated leader. Teach him if you can that 10 cents earned is of far more value than a dollar found. In school, teacher, it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat. Teach him to learn how to gracefully lose, and enjoy winning when he does win. Teach him to be gentle with people, tough with tough people. Steer him away from envy if you can and teach him the secret of quiet laughter. Teach him if you can - how to laugh when he is sad, teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him there can be glory in failure and despair in success. Teach him to scoff at cynics. Teach him if you can the wonders of books, but also give time to ponder the extreme mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun and flowers on a green hill. Teach him to have faith in his own ideas, even if every one tell him they are wrong. Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when everyone else is doing it. Teach him to listen to every one, but teach him also to filters all that he hears on a screen of truth and take only the good that comes through. Teach him to sell his talents and brains to the highest bidder but never to put a price tag on his heart and soul. Let him have the courage to be impatient, let him have the patient to be brave. Teach him to have sublime faith in himself, because then he will always have sublime faith in mankind, in God. This is the order, teacher but see what best you can do. He is such a nice little boy and he is my son.

Nature speaks silently

"The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely, or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quite alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy amidst the simple beauty of nature."
Anne Frank: (1929-1945)

A Girl’s Dream

Every girl nurtures the dream of having a life partner. She sees the entire world through his eyes and imagines the world as a canvas with colors spread all over it. The riot of colors truly reflects the spirit of her love towards the person who trips down her memory lane, which almost fills her with a touch of uniqueness.
I was no different. My dream was the same, as “a shimmer of palest green with a blush of rose”. He was like the sun which lures me into secret tunnels of deep green, a white splash of his love blinds, when I look up between trees. The magical litany of his words was enough to make me an eager flutter on the platform that sets my small heart arise. He always stood beside me as a play of light and shade and the warmth in such sharp contrast, which would always make me strong. Many a times I open my palms and find it filled with loads of love, affection and a curiosity about the future. Many a times I try to shape the future and no matter how hard I try I know it very well that the unforeseen often seems to come in the way.
I’m not scared because I know the fact that there is someone who will always be there beside me, holding my hand and helping me in preparing for the future which has to be rooted with our potential skills and capabilities. A beautiful relationship thats silent and untouched.

Rainbow of my Dreams

I am like summer. I rustle like trees
Humming like a low wind in the branches
Laughing, remembering my sweet dreams,
I am the one who waits every hour
Which brings treasures
Every time I think
If I could get a certain bunch of keys
Which could open a certain cupboard
Where all my dreams tumble out
In the swift radiance of absolute realization
I always wait for the rain
Which comes in many guises?
They become my world
And the rain-drops, my dreams
I always wait for the sunset
Dancing against my window
Encouraging me to dance
In the twilight of Summer
In the Rainbow of my Dreams
